Only had dessert, but I must say it was delicious! The waiter was very good and didn't care that we just ordered desserts. We tried the New Yorker, a massive strawberry milk shake with an equally massive piece of strawberry cheesecake on top of it. Also got the banana split. Both very well done.

Probably some of the best chicken I've ever had in my life. I really liked the atmosphere of the place. It was a little busy when we visited but that's what you expect during Christmas time. Overall, the experience was great and I can't wait to go back!

Food is very good, but the portions are huge! I had a half corned beef sandwich and a cup of matzo ball soup.More than filling. No room for their famous cheesecake. Perhaps the next visit. Love the atmosphere and the music is sublime to my ears and taste.

Firstly, let's understand the venue is 1930s diner. However the food is SSOOOOOO much better. Long wait, crowded dining room and still worth it all. tried 4 places to get REAL NY style cheesecake...ONLY Juniors' hit the home run. Great sandwiches and soups, too.

We went there after a show with our 3 teenage kids. We waited a long time for a table, that was fine. I stood at the back of the waiting area. The little hostess rudely told me to move so she could open the door behind me. I did, but there were people behind me. She continued to push on the door, knowing she was pushing it into me. So we got a table next to probably the worst table I have ever sat next to in my life. They were yelling, cursing and would shriek excessively with laughter. There were small children and elderly sitting around them. Everyone was visibly disturbed by these people. I just wish the management would have done something. The food was pretty decent. Loved the music. The best part was our waitress, Brooke M was a delight and took great care of us

This place is nice!!! Cozy spot in Theater District. Service was fast, good was tasty and made as requested. Was a little pricier than expected - it's NYC.NOTE: You can bit g children here, but not ideal in the evening. Its crowded and seating is tight.

I have order in the past and have received my order with no issues. About a month ago I order a cheesecake for mother's day when I receive the box it felt a little warm but I took out the cake placed in the freezer. Today mother day this is what I saw. They need to pack it better with more ice when shipping to Arizona. See pic under pics the open cheesecake box that does not look good

The deserts were really generous portions and tasted great. I rarely get defeated when it comes to food and this place beat me. I had their famous bacon cheeseburger with fries and onion rings (which were as big as my face), for dessert I had a milkshake and chocolate mousse cheesecake I got so close to finishing it all but I was ready to pop. The prices were reasonable when you consider the location and portion size, alcohol was pricey but it seems to be the same every where I went, so it was priced inline with other places but it twice the price you pay in UK at a typical pub.

The desserts were 5/5 🌟. They were really really good. I highly recommend getting the Strawberry Cheesecake 🤤 My wife really enjoyed her Chocolate Mousse Cake as well. The food was 4/5, but only trying two of their dishes is a small sample size. 🌟. If I ever come back to NY/Times Squares, I will definitely be stopping by to get some cheesecake. Also, the service was top notch.

Excellent experience! The service was beyond exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly and made us feel like kings and queens. Totally not expected for a diner environment. Food was also great. You got to try the New Yorker cheescake!!

Lovely vibe! Great food, I recommend the Reuben corned beef sandwich (English people - American corn beef is like brisket/salt beef - not the sliced stuff served in the UK) - friendly, fast and super efficient service. My daughters picked up a cheesecake and cupcake from the take-away - by all accounts, sensational!

The split pea soup is pretty good and I recommend it. The pastrami sandwich is also very good. The cheese burger was a bit soggy so not that great IMO. Onion rings are terrible. They are mainly batter similar to a long john silver fish fillet. Fries were perfect and the service was a 7 out of 10. Not bad for NYC. Strawberry cheesecake was terrific.

This is a must-visit restaurant for me every time I come to NY! I love Junior’s strawberry cheesecake, I order it every time I come! That and a glass of Prosecco of course, it pairs perfectly with the cheesecake. Aside from cheesecake/dessert, they offer a full menu and bar. I’ve been 3 times for dinner and they never disappoint!

Good food and a nice ambience gives this place the charm it needs. The prices are moderate, and I tried the original cheesecake after reading about it being the most popular item on the menu. While the cake was dense and soft, the base was a sponge cake layer and not biscuit, which kind of let me down. The baked onion soup was pretty good. And the selection on their restaurant menu was pretty wide as well. All in all, it's a place you can definitely give a shot.

We made reservations for one o'clock p.m. on Thanksgiving Day after the big parade in New York City. Even though the place was jammed, we arrived at the proper time and were seated within 1 minute. We ordered the beef brisket sandwich which comes between 2 potato pancakes instead of bread. We also had an appetizer of fried shrimp. We split everything and it was all delicious. My sister said that was the best order of fried shrimp she had ever had. I agreed. The waiter was very attentive, we had a perfect little table for 2 people, and he even honored my sister's newly filled out birthday club card. So she got a great piece of devil's food cheesecake and everyone had a great time. Highly, highly recommended.

Stopped at another Diner with 4 kids and left because it was too loud, came here and LOVED it. The food is amazing, the service is top notch. Our server, Gregory, was fun informative and personable. I will 100% be back and would recommend Juniors to anyone. Reuben and Corned Beef were great.

Went for breakfast. Nothing unique about it but it was good! Coffee was good... server wasn’t available enough. And they weren’t busy. Watched him hang out at the counter talking to friends most of the time. 🙄 Still, we’d go back if we’re down that way.

I went there a couple of times and I couldn't complain about anything. The food tastes great and the portions are big, which makes up for not the cheapest of prices. The service is always friendly and although crowded we always got a table w/o reservation. Music & atmosphere is absolutely wonderful

Great service and the cheesecake was worth the hype. Just an interesting note: the 'fresh strawberry' cheesecake doesn't look fresh, but it is. To me, the topping looked like a bunch of gelatin with strawberries, which doesn't look fresh. But it definitely was, even the jelly stuff was light and flavorful and the berries were very fresh.

Junior's is an institution of New York cookery, or so they claim. Unfortunately the food at Junior's is not worth the price, and it does not live up to the hype. The traditional pastrami on rye was flavorless, as was their Something Different dish, which combined two classic combinations of apple sauce and latkes with brisket and gravy to create a mess that had no idea what it wanted to be. Lastly the world famous cheesecake was dry and lacked any punch of flavor. The restaurant itself is very nice, and the staff are excellent, it's only too bad that the main reason you go to a restaurant isn't worth it. Give this one a miss on your tour of the city.

We had to visit here, we missed it last time we were in New York. So glad we went. The food is amazing, you must save space for cheesecake!!! Reasonable prices too considering it's so near to Times Square. Definitely recommend. We sat at the bar, the barman/server was lovely and friendly too.

We came here while on a trip to New York on a recommendation from a friend. Overall, we were satisfied with our visit. We didn’t have the best service but they were fairly busy. My husband and I both got the bacon cheeseburger. It was good but not great. I will say though that they give you huge portions. The cheesecake however was very good which was the main reason we went. I would for sure say go for the cheesecake. The rest of the dinner menu might be better than what we got but I wouldn’t go back just to have dinner based on what we got.

Impossible burger was good! Just needs some kind of sauce. Steak fries were great and the biggest onion rings I have ever seen were yummy! Save room for their carrot cake cheese cake. Amazing! Great service, friendly staff. They do not take reservations and they get busy so keep that in mind.

While it appears crowded an hour b4 your show time everyone is served their food orders and get to their respective shows on time. Food choices are good, I had cheese burger & steak fries with onion rings recently, and a brisket sandwich & a bowl of split pea soup the last time, the food was delicious. The waiters respond quickly, take your order and the food is hot when delivered. Great service, the ambiance is cozy. ENJOY

All four of these stars are for the food. It was absolutely amazing and I see what all the fuss is about. But, being a Texan boy, hospitality is a big thing to me, of which this place had barely any. I asked our waiter if they do anything for birthdays and he said they only sing if you buy dessert. Then I asked if they would do anything for two people who had just got engaged and he said no. Mind you they don't have to do any of these things, but gestures are always nice to keep word of mouth and happy customers happy. All in all there is nothing wrong with the place, just a little friendliness can go a long way. Extra shout out to the lady who sat us, she was funny, well spoken and professional.

Good LORD! If I had unlimited money, and would never gain weight I would gorge myself on these delicious meals every single day. The antique diner feel is fun, and the wait staff are friendly. Burgers are amazing, and the cheesecake absolutely lives up to its reputation. If you're around Time Square it's absolutely worth the stop in, and the prices aren't so bad you'd regret going. There's far more expensive places on the same block that don't have food this good or an atmosphere that's as inviting.

For a place known for its cheesecake, I anticipated a lengthy list of offerings similar to what one would find at a Cheesecake Factory. However, Juniors has a smaller selection of about a dozen flavors. I shared the Raspberry Swirl with a friend and it did not disappoint! The server, Jess, was really nice and shared with us what makes a New York cheesecake a "New York cheesecake." It is dense rather than whipped and airy.

Not worth the hype. The tables and people were packed in like sardines. The service was sub-par. The informal atmosphere was a good choice for the kids, but we could’ve definitely found better food for a better price. There was nothing we ordered that’s even worth mentioning to recommend. I did go to the bakery later and ordered a strawberry cheesecake, but like another reviewer said-nothing extraordinary that couldn’t be made at home.

This place is a really nice spot just off Times Square. It's unlike most restaurants in the area which are usually tourist death traps. It's where you can find good food.I ordered the reuben and it fantastic. Really flavorful corned beef. Good balance of flavour from the kraut and the sauce when combined. The service is quick enough we got our meals within 10-15 minutes.I would go back if in the area but wouldn't go back specifically for this place. If your visiting and want a break from massive fast food chains, here is a good place to go.

We got here around 5:30, & got on the wait list. The hostess assured us we’d be seated in 15-30 min. and that we wouldn’t be late for our 7PM show. She was right! We got seated at 5:50, and Frieda, friendly and quick, took our drink and food orders right away. Within minutes, we had our drinks. My green tea came with 2 tea bags, 2 lemons & a pot of hot water. She also brought me honey. We got a HUGE corned beef sandwich 10 minutes later. We split it, and it was satisfying for both of us. We didn’t take the beets and pickles, but if you like them, they come with the meal. The place was packed, the servers were moving like lightning, and everyone seemed pleased with their meals. We also enjoyed sitting by the huge windows, watching the world go by.

I used to love their food and Juniors was a mandatory pit stop for my frequent trips to Manhattan. Their offerings now leave me with an upset stomach and I am unable to apppreciate this business. We are better off lending our support to other businesses.

I was surprised by this place, figuring that it would depend upon the steady traffic from Times Square without dedication attention to the food. I was happy to be proven wrong. The food is good - the sorry of food you want from a diner or deli. We had breakfast here and it was filling and tasty. There was a big crowd waiting but we were seated within 15 minutes. It's more expensive than a typical diner by about $8 - $10 bucks per item, but I think it's worth it and it outshines the many chains around the square.

Junior’s has always been our favorite cheesecake but this trip my daughter is a diagnosed celiac and was concerned. But no need! We went to the Juniors bakery and they had 5 options. She has eaten every single bite and is so happy. And the non-gluten friendly pineapple cheesecake I had was also delicious. Creamy and the right level of sweetness.

Best cheesecake in midtown, never fails to impress! Entrees are huge, so we usually split between two of us. In the heart of the theater district, so perfect for dinner before curtain. The wait can be a while at peak times, but table service is usually lightning fast.

We were looking for a good NY cheesecake for A while now (most of them like Magnolia's are just sweet and vanilla), and finally found it!We had a slice of the plain cake and a coffee from the take out counter, and this is all we needed. A cheesecake where you can actually taste the cheese! And on top of that, it's probably the most dense and rich cake we had in a while.

We had a group and needed to be able to get in and out very quickly on a day the restaurant seemed to be very busy with long wait times. First time here. Stopped at take out counter before a show across the street at St James Theatre. Grabbed some slices and coffee and ate at their outside tables (because it was February and no one was out there & since there was, of course, a longer wait that we, unfortunately, had time for). Worked out great though: Coffee was very good; cheesecake was to die for. Totally lived up to its reputation. Can't wait to go back!

Wow. What can I say. Great food. Tremendous and I mean TREMENDOUS cheese cake. We missed breakfast one day but that was fine. Kathy had their avocado toast and I had the bagel and lox. The next day I had their French bread. Servers were super friendly and helpful. You can bet I WL be ordering their cheesecake for home delivery ... Even out here to California. I've seen it done and it arrives perfect.

I went to Junior's Bakery to try an authentic New York cheesecake, I had the strawberry one and it definitely met my expectations. Even if New York style cheesecakes are not my favourite ones since they are loaded with cheese and generally too sweet for me, this one was not that cloying and the taste was really balanced. I also tried the red velvet cupcake and it was pretty good as well.
